My baby, my red-head beauty, my heart, my Parker Grace. She turned 5 years old last week. I still can’t believe it. 5 years old! I know it’s a huge cliche to say but time sure flies. It seems like just yesterday that she was attached to me at all times in a baby carrier. Or learning how to roll over. Or finally growing enough hair for tiny pigtails!
This has been the best age though. She’s into dance. She loves animals. She loves all things girly like makeup and nail polish and getting her hair done but she also loves getting dirty. She’s excited to start soccer this spring and T-Ball this summer. She’s in two dance classes. She is obsessed with the water and swimming. She has a different swim suit for every day of the week plus some. She has a thing for shoes. She loves shopping and trying on clothes. The problem is she never puts anything back once she tries it on! Her and her Gramma Kitty can really get into trouble at the mall together! Rainbow is her favorite color but if you ask her tomorrow it might be yellow or light blue. She has never met a muddy puddle she didn’t want to jump in.
Parker has a soft spot for cats and dogs. If she could, she would have one or both sleeping in her bed every night. Me too but her daddy is kind of a buzz kill about that kind of thing! She loves french fries and ice cream. She is my biggest supporter and always lets me put oils on her. She even shares her Unicorn roller with her friends before dance recitals. One day she’ll make a great member of my oily team!
Happy 5th birthday baby girl! I love you more than you will ever know.
