Happy Mother’s Day week! May is one of our busiest months. Lots of birthdays, our anniversary, our annual Memorial Day camping trip and of course Mother’s Day! I decided to treat myself to a Stitch Fix box this month since I hadn’t received one in awhile. I received a mixture of maternity and non-maternity items and a pair of booties. The Evelee Cold Shoulder Kimono from Nine Britton is the only piece I decided to keep so I built a fun, spring outfit around it for Mother’s Day! Honestly, this tank is a little too tight for my comfort so on Sunday I will probably wear my loose, flowy black tank instead. I wanted to show off the bump though.
Head to the bottom for the $150 Stitch Fix gift card giveaway.
This cold shoulder kimono is simply gorgeous. It’s black with a floral pattern and lace detail around the shoulders. It’s longer than any of my other kimonos making it perfect with skinny jeans. I think it would also look great dressed down with a pair of jean shorts and sandals or dressed up with a black dress.
I don’t know what we are doing on Mother’s Day yet. I’m hoping my husband has something up his sleeve. Maybe something that includes brunch and no laundry! Whatever we do, I will be comfortable in this outfit. These laser cut sandals are my new go-to if I’m looking for something with a heel. They are surprising comfortable for $15 shoes!
On Me – Kimono via Stitch Fix | Jeans | Tank | Sandals On Parker – Shirt | Jeans | Shoes | Flower Crown
This is the first time you’ve seen Parker in my outfit posts in a while since she’s in the throes of terrible twos! It’s been easier to do them without her but she cooperated for most of these shots. She enjoyed looking over the bridge and giving me lots of snuggles.
