Last week the kids and I did a little exploring around our little town. It was HOT. We’ve been dealing with 90+ degree temps for a couple of weeks now. This last weekend we got a little break and it actually rained. It’s back to the heat today though. The heat doesn’t seem to affect these two. They could go go go all day! I’m trying to soak up every last minute of summer with Parker before she starts preschool next month so when she asked to go to the park after walking around I took her. I was melting, I sweated my makeup off just sitting there!
You know those kids that pull off the effortlessly cool hipster look? Yeah, my kids aren’t them! I buy their clothes from Old Navy and Carter’s. BUT every now and then our friends from some cool boutiques send us stuff that ups our cool factor. These shorts are from Raxtin and they are so cute! Timothy looks 6 months older in this outfit. Like he should be walking around!
We took a couple new baby products out exploring with us and gave them a little test drive – the Ergobaby 180 Reversible Stroller and Skip Hop Chelsea Downtown Chic Diaper Backpack
. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a bit of a diaper bag snob but this Skip Hop bag really surprised me! It’s well made, nice looking and huge! I really like the fact that the main compartment is just one big pocket. I can fit everything I need for a day out with my two kids and much more. I use the front zipper pouch for my personal items: wallet, cell phone, lip gloss etc. The two side pockets are perfect for bottles and sippy cups. The only downside I could find is that it truly is only a backpack. The handle is great though; I just need to get a hook for the stroller so I can attach the bag when I don’t want to wear it.
Overall I’m really pleased with the Skip Hop Chelsea Downtown Chic Diaper Backpack. I’ll be adding it into my daily rotation! I forgot how much I missed having a black bag. It makes any outfit feel a little nicer!
When you hear Ergobaby what’s the first thing you think of? Probably baby carriers, right? Up until a month ago that’s what I thought too! Ergobaby recently introduced the 180 Reversible Stroller and I’m obsessed. The handlebar is reversible with just one click. I love being able to see my baby while he snacks because he’s a bit of a choker! When he’s done I can flip it around so he’s forward facing. When I’m pushing the Ergobaby 180 parent-facing, I feel like I’m pushing a European buggy. So fancy!
My second favorite feature is the sunshade. It completely covers him up! Naps are so much easier with this stroller than any of my others.
The Ergobaby 180 Reversible Stroller has so many more cool features. The recline has mesh to allow airflow, making it perfect for summer time naps. It folds up with just one hand and only weighs 20 lbs. It also has a huge storage space. You can see we were using it to collect treasures (leaves) on our walk. Plus if you have an infant, the Ergobaby 180 is compatible with both Graco, Chicco, Britax and BOB car seats. You just need to purchase the adapter separately.
I could go on about what I love about this stroller! Head over HERE to see for yourself and watch the video.
Can we just talk about Timothy’s hair for a second? I’m dead! His little faux hawk is the best.
Special thanks to Photos by SW for tagging along with us and for taking these photos. If you’re in the market for a new diaper bag or stroller these are two great options! Let me know what you think about the two and if you have any questions about features let me know below!
